Reorder pages

Reorder PDF pages before you share the final document.

Move pages earlier or later and export a PDF in the new order.

Reorder PDF pages is useful when a document is almost right but the sequence is wrong. Instead of editing blind, you can review the page thumbnails and adjust the order in context.

The output is one new PDF that reflects the new page sequence.

How it works

Step-by-step tool workflow

01

Upload one PDF

Add the document whose page order needs fixing.

02

Move pages into the right order

Use the page controls to shift pages earlier or later.

03

Download the reordered PDF

PDFre writes a new PDF in the updated page sequence.

Why it feels trustworthy

  • The core processing flow runs locally in your browser.
  • You can review files or pages before downloading the result.
  • The page copy explains browser-only edge cases instead of hiding them.

Known limits

  • This workflow reorders pages inside one PDF; it does not combine multiple PDFs.
  • Very large page sets can feel slower on older devices.

Common questions

Is reorder PDF different from delete or extract pages?

Yes. Reorder changes the sequence of the pages that stay in the document. Delete removes pages. Extract creates a new PDF from selected pages.

Can I create a new order before merging files?

Yes, but if your source is already one PDF, reorder is the more direct workflow. If you have several source files, merge PDF is the better starting point.
